Playspaces inspired by children with disabilities
AMP Space in Red Hook and CAP House in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn are gathering places and labs where parents and children can play and experiment with a trove of therapeutic toys and equipment on their own or with other families.
We offer a friendly, non-bureaucratic atmosphere where you and your child/children will be welcomed and celebrated for the people you are, as you are.
“We love Extreme Kids! It’s like our home, our indoor backyard.” – Gisela, mom to Simon & Natalia
Drop in for Sunday Open Play at AMP
Starting September 29th, every Sunday from 12-4, AMP is open to members and non-members alike. Non-members pay $10 for one child, $5 for siblings. You do not need to make an appointment for Sunday Open Plays. We are working on creating a schedule of other times during the week we’ll be open.
CAP is a cozier space designed for younger children, ages 6 months-4 years, although older children use it for home school programs and for individual play sessions and playdates. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a visit.
